Mid 18th century watch chain with seal and Danish silver coin.
The chain is complete except for two of the small square panels (one on each side).
The fob contains three red cut stones (may be glass ?). Attached to this is a large silver seal (engraved N.R.J.B) and a watch key with a large silver coin inset.
This is a Danish 24 skilling coin, dated 1747. It is quite a rare and valuable coin, but it is worn.
