An English silver pair, half hunter styled case, with a verge movement, signed W. W. Clunn.

MOVEMENT : The verge movement is signed and numbered (7100). It is running well.

DIAL : The large cream enamel dial is about 46 mm in diameter. It has a number of light hairlines radiating from the centre and repairs on the edge at 2 and 3 o’clock. Nice correct half hunter hands (with the minute having two spades).

INNER CASE : Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1841, maker CJ. The hinge has one sleeve missing but the catch is fine and the case snaps shut nicely. The crystal is scratched but otherwise the case is fine.

OUTER CASE : Matching hallmarks to the inner. There are a few small dents on the back and some wear and a short split on the bezel, but the hinge and catch are fine. No repairs.
