MOVEMENT : Gilding still bright. Beautifully engraved and pierced double foot balance cock. It is signed and numbered (518) and running well.
DIAL : The signed white enamel dial is about 36 mm in diameter. No repairs but there are a number of light hairlines around the edge.
INNER CASE : Hallmarked for London, 1792, maker SC. The case is also marked with the movement serial number (518). The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely. The pendant and bow appear to be original. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is also in good condition. The case is in good condition with no repairs but does have numerous light bruises on the back.
OUTER CASE : The gold repousse pair case is in good condition with just a little wear to the high points (a couple of pin holes on the back) and no damage or repairs. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely. This case is 47.5 mm in diameter.
