MOVEMENT : The gilded verge fusee movement, with a particularly finely engraved and pierced balance cock, is in fine condition and is running well. It is signed and numbered (7228).
DIAL : The white enamel dial is about 38 mm in diameter. It is in good condition with a some surface scratches but no hairlines or repairs.
INNER CASE : Diameter 43.5 mm. Silver hallmarks for London, 1790, maker TC. Very good overall condition with no repairs. Good high dome bull’s eye crystal with no damage. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely.
OUTER CASE : Diameter 52.5 mm. Silver hallmarks matching the inner. The hinge and catch are again fine and the case snaps shut. Excellent overall condition with just one tiny ding on the back.
