Gold repousse pair cases

MOVEMENT : Engraved and pierced balance cock with ruby endstone. It is signed and numbered (8527) and running well. Very good conversion to a lever movement, probably done around 1800.
DIAL : White enamel, 35 mm. In exceptional condition with just very minor surface scratches.
INNER CASE : 22ct gold, hallmarked for London 1776, maker HB. The hinge and catch are fine and the bezel closes. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is in very good condition. The case is also in very good condition with just a few very small dents but nothing serious.
OUTER CASE : 22ct gold, 47.5 mm. This repousse outer case is in fine condition with very little wear and just one small pin hole at a high point. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely. Both cases, excluding movement, weight about 58 gms.
