French verge in a wonderful silver case, all in unusually fine condition.

MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with beautifully engraved and pierced balance cock, in virtually mint condition. Signed “Delacour A COUTANCES”. Running well.

DIAL : 43.5 mm. Signed white enamel dial, in very fine condition with just tiny hairline, right on the edge, at 12.

CASE : 50.5 mm. Silver with gilt rims. The bezels with 12 sides and beautiful engine turning on the back. French silver marks on the inside and stem. Case no. 1674. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut nicely. Good high dome crystal with no damage.

This is an unusual case in excellent condition.
