MOVEMENT : Gilt brass verge movement, with silver balance cock and pierced plates. The balance cock is signed and engraved with a hunting scene, with a glazed window showing the mock pendulum. Wonderfully ornate pillars. Running well and in very good condition with just a couple of chips to the glass pendulum window.

DIAL : 42 mm. Silver champleve dial, the central disc signed ‘VAN WINDEN’ with military emblems. In nice original condition (not over cleaned). Later hands.

CASE : 50 mm. Silver. No marks other than a maker’s mark VA?. The case is exceptionally deep, about 26mm from bezel to the bottom. All in excellent condition. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut nicely. Good high dome crystal with no damage.
