A good English verge, with a particularly fine and striking silver dial.

MOVEMENT : Fully signed and numbered (6298) verge movement. Good original condition and running well.

DIAL : 41 mm, silver dial with engine turned engraving and applied gold numerals. Gold coloured hands. A very early and attractive example of this type of silver dial.

CASE : 45.5 mm. Silver, with London hallmarks for 1823, maker JH. Engine turned band and small monogram on the back (JH?).
The hinge and crystal are fine and the bezel snaps shut nicely.
