MOVEMENT : Excellent verge movement with large silver balance bridge, beautifully engraved and pierced. In very good, clean condition and working well. Signed “Henry Baltazar, A Paris” and numbered (4508).

DIAL : 40 mm. Nice early French white enamel dial. No repairs but damage around the winding aperture, around the catch at 6, and a light hairline down the left hand side.

CASE : 49 mm. Gilt on brass, though much of the gilding has worn off. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is fine. The hinges are fine and the case snaps shut nicely.
The back of the case has worn quite thin, resulting in a short crack across the middle.
