MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, signed (F. Haines, London) and numbered (134).

Movement condition :

Complete and running, though occasionally stops so probably needs cleaning.

The jewelled steel coqueret to the centre of the balance cock, is probably later.

The steel lever which stops the fusee from being overwound is missing.

The steel catch and catch spring are missing.

DIAL : White enamel dial, in poor condition. No hands.

INNER CASE : Silver, with no marks. In reasonable condition but with some compression and wear resulting in 2 short splits. The hinge is fine and the bezel does snap shut. The high dome bull’s eye crystal is fine.

OUTER CASE : Again with no marks. The hinge, catch and catch button are ok, but the bezel is slightly distorted so it doesn’t snap shut. Some wear and creases near the catch button.

The outer case is a good fit for the inner, and is probably original.
