A fine rose gold cased Paris pocket watch, with a verge movement. All in particularly good condition.

MOVEMENT : Verge movement, with large, finely engraved and pierced balance bridge with ruby endstone, large silver regulator disk and four square pillars. Signed ‘Jn. Le Roy A Paris’. The dial plate is stamped with a crown above ‘BD’. The movement is in very good original condition and is running well.

DIAL : Original signed white enamel dial with no repairs, but some small chips around the winding aperture, the catch at 6 and near the edge at 2 and 4. Nice matching gilt hands.

CASE : The wonderful rose gold case, with bright cut engraving, is in excellent condition throughout. Maker’s mark IC? over TT. The hinge and catch are fine and the bezel snaps shut correctly. The high dome crystal has one small chip right on the bezel at 7.
