MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock. Fully signed and numbered (1821).
All in exceptionally good condition and running well.
DIAL : White enamel. Gilt brass hands.
The dial is in perfect condition.
CASE : Heavy gauge silver, hallmarked for Birmingham 1813, maker’s mark WH, on the inner back and both covers. Both covers are spring loaded, each released by pressing one side of the double button on the crown.
Both covers snaps shut and the silver is in excellent condition, with just light scratches and a couple of very light bruises on one cover.
William Beavington is listed in Stourbridge (Worcestershire) between 1793 and 1816.
