An excellent quality London cylinder watch, with gold balance wheel.

MOVEMENT : Nice quality cylinder movement, fully signed and numbered (2263). Steel cylinder, diamond endstone, blued screws and heavy five spoke solid gold balance wheel.

Signed (DAVID MORICE, Fenchurch Street, London) and numbered (2263).

All in good original condition and running well.

DIAL : White enamel, in good condition with just a few very light hairlines running from the edge between 11 and 12, and a small repair on the edge at 6. Matching gold coloured spade hands.

CASE : 49 mm. Silver. Hallmarks for London, 1849, maker ROJE (rubbed). Engine turned engraving to back and band. One very light bump on the back but otherwise in excellent condition. The hinges, catches and crystal are fine.
