A late 18thc., French verge in a beautiful 2 coloured gold case..
MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with well engraved and pierced balance bridge, large silvered regulator disk and four round pillars.
Signed Antoine Melly, and numbered 9179.
In good condition and running well.
DIAL : Good signed white enamel dial, in excellent condition with just some very light scratches. No repairs.
Good gold hands.
CASE : A very fine gold case, with yellow and rose gold decoration to the bezel and back. Stamped on the stem with maker’s mark RF and movement serial number 9179,
The gold is in very good condition, with just a little wear to the high points of the decoration on the back. The hinges and catch are complete and the bezel snaps shut. The catch button is a little worn.
The high dome crystal is good.
