A Liverpool rack lever, in heavy silver pair cases.

MOVEMENT : Gilded rack lever fusee movement, with blued screws, diamond endstone and removable gilt brass dustcap.

Signed Thos. Pinnington, Liverpool and numbered 138.

All in good original condition, and running well.

DIAL : White enamel dial. In good condition, with slight damage on the edge at 6:30, a very light hairline from the centre towards 10 and some small and light scratches.

Excellent gold hands.

INNER CASE : Silver, with hallmarks for Chester 1810, maker’s mark IL.

All in very good condition. The bezel snaps shut correctly.

The crystal has a little damage on the inside, right on the bezel at 6, but is otherwise fine.

OUTER CASE : A heavy silver pair case, with hallmarks and maker’s mark matching the inner.

The silver is in very good condition. The hinge and catch are fine and the case snaps shut.
