Price £1250

A small, late 18th century verge escapement watch, in a gold case.

MOVEMENT : Gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance bridge and silver regulator disk.

Unsigned.

This movement is in good condition and is running well.

DIAL : White enamel dial in reasonable condition, but with damage in several areas right on the edge.

Nice matching blued steel hands.

CASE : An 18 ct. gold hunter case, with engine turned engraved decoration to back and front. Stamped K18 with serial number 9199. The front cover opens when the small button on the top of the stem is depressed.

The gold is in good condition throughout, with the engine turned engraving still crisp. There are some very light small bruises. The catch and hinge are good and the bezel snaps shut correctly

This little watch probably originates from either Switzerland or France.
