The regulator pointer is formed as a serpent’s tail, a feature later adopted by several fine London makers.
The movement is signed Geo Brooke, LONDON.
All in good condition, and running well.
DIAL : A signed silver champleve dial. In very good condition.
Good early blued steel beetle and poker hands, again in very good condition.
INNER CASE : No hallmarks, but maker’s mark RB under a star.
All in very good condition. The high dome crystal is good. The hinge is fine and the bezel snaps shut. The stem has been reattached and reinforced from the inside.
OUTER CASE : As with the inner, no hallmarks, but maker’s mark matching the inner. Nice square hinge.
All in very good condition. The catch, catch button and hinge are fine and the bezel snaps shut nicely.
