MOVEMENT CONDITION : The watch movement doesn’t run but the balance swings and the rest of the movement looks fine. The movement is dirty but is complete and in good condition, so needs to be stripped down and cleaned.

MOVEMENT SIZE : 10.5 mm between the plates. Top plate 40 mm. Dial plate 41.5 mm.

Robert Bumstead was free of the Clockmakers’ Company and working in Holborn from 1702 until 1736.
