Shagreen Outer Case

Diameter 47 mm, inner bezel diameter 40 mm, inner depth to bezel 11 mm.

Gilt brass base, with green shagreen (or textured leather) covering and gilt rims.

Good condition. The shagreen is almost perfect with just a little lifting around the edge of the back.

The hinge, catch button and catch are fine and the case snaps shut nicely. The gilding is still bright, with just wear to the catch button, and edges of the bezel and rims.
