18thc.  Ottoman case

Gilt and shell 3rd and 4th cases for a late 18thc. Turkish market watch.

3RD CASE : Gilt & shell. Outer diameter 65 mm, inner diameter 55 mm, inner depth to dial plate base 19 mm.

Engraved gilt, with shell covering to bezel and back. The interior and bezel are velvet lined.

Very good condition throughout. The hinge and catch are fine and the bezel snaps shut correctly.

The shell is in good condition, with non missing and just a few small cracks and dents.

4TH CASE : Silver. Diameter 53 mm.

Gilt brass with repousse decoration to back and front. Outer diameter 74 mm, inner diameter 68 mm, inner depth to dial plate base 23 mm.

The interior and bezel are velvet lined.

Very good condition throughout. The hinge and catch are fine and the cover snaps shut correctly.
